BCC Sentinel — schedule pages, not just uptime

Catch stale schedule pages before viewers do

Uptime tools only prove a URL answered. A public schedule page can still show yesterday while the stack looks green. BCC Sentinel loads the same HTML a browser would, infers the latest on-air date from what you published, and emails your team when it is not current.

Run Check now from your account any time; add optional recurring checks alongside the jobs you already run in production.

Alert log

[12:05] check ok — latest programme date matches today (UTC).

Checks use Google Gemini to read programme dates from a capped excerpt of the page HTML your visitors would see.

URL in → freshness out → alert if stale

  1. 01

    Add the schedule page

Paste the https URL of the on-air or listings page—the same address a browser would open for viewers.

  2. 02

    Run checks on your schedule

Use Check now in your account whenever you want a fresh read. For always-on coverage, your team can also hook recurring checks into the automation you already trust.

  3. 03

We email if it is stale

We fetch the page, infer the latest programme date from the published content, and email you when it is not the current day (UTC).

A 200 OKonly proves the page loaded—not that today's listings are on it. Sentinel looks at what is actually published so ops can catch silent drift in the website schedule.
